A Sunny Surprise Proposal on Whitby’s West Pier

There’s something so special about surprise proposals – the anticipation, the emotion, and that unforgettable “yes” moment. I’ve now had the absolute joy of capturing three surprise proposals in Whitby, and each one feels as magical as the first.

This time, it was for Kelly and Lorraine – a couple full of love, laughter, and fun. On a bustling, sunny day in the heart of Whitby, Kelly chose the West Pier for her big moment.

As Lorraine said yes, the emotion was real, raw, and so full of joy. We then took a lovely wander along the pier, capturing some relaxed photos to mark the moment and celebrate their brand-new engagement.
