That’s where I can help.
I’ve had the privilege of capturing several surprise proposals, each one completely unique but all full of genuine emotion. From the quiet nerves beforehand to the moment the question is asked and the answer is a very happy “yes”, these are memories that deserve to be captured naturally and discreetly.
How It Works
1. We plan the location together
I give advice on the best locations and beautiful spots for proposals – whether that’s a dramatic coastal view, a quiet beach walk or a meaningful place for you both. We discuss until you are happy with the plan.
2. I stay discreet
On the day, I’ll arrive early and position myself so I can capture the moment without being obvious. Many people simply assume I’m photographing the scenery.
3. The big moment
When the question is asked, I’m ready to capture the reaction, the surprise and the excitement exactly as it happens.
4. A relaxed engagement shoot
After the proposal, we have time to take some natural couple shots, while you enjoy the moment of being newly engaged.

Pre-wedding shoot
Price £200
A great way for us to meet before the big day OR to capture the start of your journey together.
This would be a 1-hour shoot at the location of your choice, with 10 high resolution images chosen from approximately 40-50 which would be available from your private online gallery.
(Additional costs for mileage if over 10 miles from Whitby).
